GCCG Reaches Another Milestone: From Evidence to Clinical Implementation
The GCCG reached another important milestone at the EAO Congress in Lisbon, demonstrating how this global scientific initiative is advancing from evidence generation to practical clinical implementation.
The congress also gave the GCCG Board and organisational representatives an opportunity to discuss the initiative’s future direction. Reflecting GCCG’s growing international relevance, its partnership network continues to expand.

The Clinical Guidance Tool for the Edentulous Maxilla is an interactive educational resource designed to support clinicians in applying GCCG consensus recommendations in daily clinical practice. Through structured clinical pathways, recommendations and supporting evidence, it translates scientific guidance into practical clinical decision-making.

A historic milestone for implant dentistry! Nearly 120 experts from 27 countries came together for the first Global Consensus for Clinical Guidelines from 6–18 June 2025 in Boston.
Bridging science and real-world practice, the GCCG is setting new global standards for treating the edentulous maxilla — with clear, practical, evidence-based guidelines for clinical practice.
